Chief scientist in Iran has been assassinated.  He was responsible for the nuclear power programme.  People said he was in charge of developing nuclear bombs.  No one has admitted the killing.  There was an explosion and his car was stopped and gunmen shot him.  Iran says it was Israel that carried out the attack.    Iran says there will be revenge.  This not good for the Middle East peace.
There are large numbers of people from Hong Kong who will come to Britain.  They have British Overseas passports which means they are allowed to settle in the UK.  There could be 200 thousand people who decide to come to the UK.  They want to leave Hong Kong because China has changed the law and is not allowing people to have free speech and democracy.
There will be more French police on the beaches to try to stop the migrants crossing the channel.  They will use technology with drones to try to stop people getting into boats.  This is a new agreement with the British Government.
Planning to head off to your holiday home in France or Spain next year?  That will not be so easy after December 31^st.  It does not matter if there is a Brexit deal or not.  The EU has a 90/180 rule for foreigners.  This means that you can only spend 3 months in your holiday home out of every 6 months.  That might be enough for some but not if you were planning to retire there.   To retire there you will need to change your formal residence from UK to that country.  Then you will need to pay taxes there.
