Serious issue has appeared in the USA. Because many (maybe even most) universities have moved away from lectures to have on-line teaching and learning, the Government department says they is no need for foreign students to be in USA. So they could be deported. Other countries who pay the high fees and the accommodation costs, might think this was a good idea since their costs would be much lower and students could still get degrees. But the students are very unhappy.
Report from UN says Governments are looking at the virus in the wrong way. They are just thinking of symptoms and the finance cost. The report says that the cause of the virus is because of the environment. Countries are taking away the forests and farming the animals like chicken and cattle in an intense way. This is creating illness in the natural world which is then starting to transfer to humans. The report says that there are other examples of this happening where animal disease is jumping to humans. Corona virus is not the first and will not be the last unless we take more care of the environment and wildlife.
TikTok is moving out of Hong Kong and Facebook and Twitter are not giving information to the Government there. This is because of the new law and the arrests of people.
Virus cases are now over 11.5 million. South Africa has a big increase to over 200 thousand. USA has over 130 thousand deaths … Trump says they are doing fine but the health experts say it is out of control and many states have locked down again
