Covid now spreads to Taiwan
Now there is lockdown and restrictions in Taiwan.  People thought it was one of the safest countries.  It is an island and it can close the borders easily.  But Covid came in from airline staff and now people have to say indoors.  The number of people on the metro train system has gone down by 60%.  Markets are deserted.  There is now a big surge in vaccine to protect 24 million people.
Bad enough to have covid, now India has a major storm
On Monday, a cyclone with winds of 100 miles per hour has landed in Gujerat in India.  This is the worst storm since 1998.  More than 150 thousand people have to move from their homes.  Covid patients have to move to the bigger hospitals.  There is severe rain as well.  Many houses are damaged. 
Can you work from home … but live in Italy?
