Covid getting worse in USA. There are 89,900 people in hospitals with Covid on Wednesday. Hospitals are saying they are soon running out of beds.
Island of Samoa has its first case of the virus – they have been able to ignore it up until now. The case was a 70 year old Samoan who travelled from Australia.
Germany now has over a million cases and over 15 thousand deaths. People will have to wear masks when in busy areas and they will have restrictions until early in January. That means restaurants and bars closed.
Hackers never stop. It has become a huge problem. As soon as you develop something which is important like the Internet, there are people who try to break it or try to steal from it. The latest is from South Korea where they found that hackers from North Korea were trying to break into the companies which were developing the vaccine. They were just trying to upset the vaccine development in South Korea.
Argentina has 3 days of mourning for the death of Maradona. There were thousands of people crying in the centre of Buenos Aires. He was a kid from the slums who became a national hero and the best footballer of that generation. He was buried in a quiet private ceremony.
