Government in Spain says masks are compulsory in Madrid in any public place.  There is a curfew on bars, and outdoor restaurants only allowed to have 10 people together.  Germany warns people not to travel to Spanish regions of Catalonia, Navarra and Aragon because of high rates of virus.
Americans are proposing to spend $1 trillion extra to try reduce the effect of the virus.  This includes giving each person a cheque for $1,200 but also reduces their unemployment pay from $600 to $200.  This is a proposal and the Democrat party think it is not enough.  The amounts of money involved are hard to imagine
Google has plans for a new undersea network cable between US, UK and Spain.  There is new technology in the cable and will be completed by 2022.   The cable carried vast amounts of data and is needed because of the increase in use of the Internet.  The cable is called “Grace Hopper.”
In France, in bars and restaurants, outdoor heaters will be banned by this winter.  All places with air conditioning will have to keep their doors closed.  This is part of plan to reduce global warming.
If you travel to Ireland, you have to go into quarantine for 14 days.  Dublin airport now says they expect to lose 24 million passengers for this year.  This means a big drop in profits
