You know there is an election in the USA in November.  There is a lot of fighting between Trump and Biden.  Trump refuses to meet the Black people affected by police shootings and says the police are doing a good job.  Biden meets with the families and says Trump should stop stirring up violence.  People in the USA and abroad are now getting their ballots by post so that they can vote now and send in the forms.
Yesterday Trump made fun of Biden because Biden usually wears a mask and Trump (and his supporters) is going about without a mask.  There are over 185 thousand deaths in the USA from the virus and it seems that Trump just denies the problem and says they are doing a good job.
Disaster near Japan when a ship carrying 43 sailors and nearly 6 thousand cows got into trouble in very bad weather.  They are searching for survivors but there is still bad weather.  Animal Rights people say it shows that live animals should not be transported like this and they believe most of the cows were pregnant.
Virus update:  Record numbers in India – over 80 thousand cases each day.   Brazil total cases over 4 million.  Israel has a new lockdown.  Australia cases in Melbourne still increasing.  France has over 7 thousand cases for two days in a row.  Mexico has the most deaths of health workers.
Weird or what?  Nowadays you cannot be sure about getting on a plane to go anywhere, so a company in Australia is now selling airline meals directly to the public.  These are the meals which come on a tray when you are flying longer distances.    In Sydney, you can go the airport and buy a pack of frozen meals for about £1.20 each – very cheap.  You can sit at home put on a movie about flying and have your airline meal in front of the television.  Exciting?
