Russia says it has developed a vaccine and will give it to front line workers first…. teachers and doctors.    But few teachers have volunteered to have the vaccine.  They do not want to be the guinea pigs who try it out.  They are not confident that it is working.
Strange.  Germany was successful in keeping the virus under control and has very few deaths.  Because of that, people are thinking that the virus is a not a problem.  There have been protests in Berlin against wearing masks and social distance rules because they think the risks are low. They complain that the restrictions affect their freedom.  There are also anti-virus protests in Rome and even in London.
Black Lives Matter protests in Portland in USA – 50 people arrested.  Pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong – nearly 300 arrested.  Protests in Belarus over the false election results – they want the president to go  – Police attack and beat up students.  A lot of demonstrators on the streets.
Strange but true:  A man exploded part of his house while trying to swat a fly.  The French man was eating his dinner but a fly was buzzing around.  He got one of those electric rackets which can kill flies and started chasing the fly.  But there was a leaking gas cylinder in the house.  When he waved the racket near the gas container … the gas exploded.  Lucky he was not badly hurt.  The fly got away.
