WHO health inspectors who are in China say that it is unlikely that Covid came from a lab in Wuhan.  They think it has come from the wet market.  That is where they were selling fish and live animals.  Researchers in Singapore say that bats in South East Asia seem to have the virus.
Trump’s trial has started in the USA.  The first part was a video of the 6^th January.  Trump claiming, he won the election and telling people to go to the Capitol.  He said “you have to fight like hell or you will not have a country”.  The Republicans will say no to impeachment because he is not president any more.  Others say that’s silly.  Suppose you get caught driving 80 mph in a 30 mph road.  You tell the policeman – “it’s OK I am not driving fast any more.”  The committee members have taken an oath.  They promise to be unbiased.  It looks like that will not happen as the Republicans will just support Trump.  Trump will not go to the trial.
The United Arab Emirates is celebrating – its first Arab mission in space.  Their space craft has managed to slow down now and is in orbit around Mars.  It has taken 7 months.  It is hard to imagine how you can press on the brakes to make the spacecraft slow down.  It was travelling at 120 thousand kilometres per hour.    It takes 11 minutes for the radio signal to come back from Mars.  They will be studying dust and energy around Mars.  On Wednesday the Chinese space craft will arrive.  Next week the American space craft will arrive.  It is getting busy around Mars.  We hope they keep their social distance.
