Vaccine trials (made by the Oxford company) are being started in Brazil (not UK).  That is where the most infections are and where they can have one group who has the vaccine and one group who does not – so that they can compare.
As usual, it always hurts the poorest people most.  Big companies have been cancelling contracts for clothes.  They are made in countries like Bangladesh.  Cancellations mean that companies have to close down and workers (often women) have no jobs.  There is no furlough or help for most people.  Even when they are paid they are still poor.  They just become even poorer.  Health care is not good and so the risks for the poor are very big.
Saudi Arabia has blocked all foreign Muslims from coming to the Hajj Festival.  This is very important to all Muslims but this year only the people who live in Saudi Arabia will be able to attend.
Nigel Farage was allowed to travel to USA to go to Tulsa for the Trump Rally.  But there is a travel ban in USA which means people from the UK are not allowed in.  It seems that Nigel was given special permission – they say it was “in the national interests.”
