George Floyd was murdered.  Court decides policeman is guilty.
The big news from Tuesday in the USA.  Remember George Floyd and then the protests all over the world and the Black Lives Matter and the football players taking the knee?  There was a trial and the jury found the policeman guilty.  He was filmed on people’s phones and people asked the police to stop and George kept saying “I can’t breathe”.  He died because the policemen was kneeling on his neck.  The policeman could get 40 years in jail.  Black people in USA were happy and said it was first step to get equality.
Covid in India is a disaster
Hospitals in India are full with people in corridors and even outside in car parks.  They thought they had defeated covid.  Cases just exploded.  There is not enough oxygen in hospitals, not enough beds and not enough staff.  The cause is the new version of covid.  They say there are two changes in this version and that makes it more dangerous.  UK tried to stop travel from India but wasted too much time and thousands are arriving at Heathrow,
Myanmar army now arresting doctors and health workers
We know the army has been attacking ambulances, going into clinics and arresting doctors.  They say the doctors are giving help to the protesters.  It means they have been giving treatment to people injured by the army.  Report says 160 doctors have been arrested.  Many do not wear their uniforms now – they are frightened the army will attack them.
