There are likely to be more marches and protests and unrest in Philadelphia in the USA because two policemen shot a black man.  They say he had a knife and did not stop .. but they each fired 7 bullets at him when people said he should just have been tasered which would have stopped him.  He had mental health issues.  Now Black people believe this is another example of the way police behave towards them.  As predicted there have been more protests and police were attacked and some looting occurred.
There is a big reaction in Muslim countries because President Macron of France defended the teacher who showed and discussed cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed.  He says that France is a country of free speech and its politics are not religious.    The teacher was killed by a young Muslim – as a result France will bring in new laws to deal with the problems they see in the country.  Now Muslim countries want to boycott French goods.
Trump tells people at his rallies that virus cases are “way down”.  In actual fact there were nearly 500 thousand new cases last week in the USA.  In France, they say that if they cannot control the virus, then the hospital intensive care units will be full and will not be able to cope by middle of November.  China has started to see more cases as well – they thought they had solved the problem
Scientists have discovered huge tall coral reef at the north of the Great Barrier reef in Australia.  The reef is 1.5km wide at the bottom on the sea bed and then it goes up over 500 metres in height.  It is taller than the Empire State Building in New York.  It is still under the surface of the water – that is why it was not discovered until now.  They say we know more about the surface of the Moon than we do about the seabed on Earth.
