Amazon is buying MGM studios for £6 billion
MGM is a very famous Hollywood studio.  Amazon will take over all the James Bond films and 17,000 television shows.  This means Amazon Prime video will have a huge expansion of films.  There will be a big competition between Amazon, Netflix, Disney plus and Apple TV.  Amazon just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Three people are arrested after the cable car accident
On Sunday 14 people died when a cable car fell on a mountain in Italy.  The brakes failed and the cable car was travelling at 62 mph.  The police say the three people knew that the cable car was not safe.
The Shell oil company has to reduce its carbon dioxide by nearly half.
The court in the Netherlands has told Shell that they must reduce the emissions by 2030.  This is to help the climate and environment.  Shell says they are trying.  The court now says they must reduce.  There will probably be an appeal.
Covid update – Hungary is worst just now
In the world there have been 167 million covid cases and 3.5 million people have died.  Most death is USA and Brazil.  But the worst compared to the numbers of people in the country is Hungary.  They have 3 thousand per million people.  Belgium and Brazil have 2,000 per million people, UK has 1,800 per million (more than USA).  Ireland, Germany and Netherlands have only 1,00 per million.
