More Covid – Austria bans UK, USA bans people going to Japan
Austria bans UK people from 1^st June because of surge in Indian covid in UK.  There are increases in cases in Italy.  In the USA half of adults have the vaccine.  Russia tried to get French and German bloggers to tell people that Pfizer vaccine was bad.  In Poland two thirds of people say they want the vaccine.  But they do not get it.  Now Poland has a lottery with money prizes, if people go for the vaccine.
President Biden will meet President Putin on 16^th June in Geneva
This will be the first meeting face to face.  There is a lot to discuss – covid, cyber attacks and relationships between the 2 countries.  It could be a difficult meeting as the USA is not happy with Russia.
UK wants a trade deal with Australia – UK farmers are not happy
UK is desperate to have a deal with Australia before they have the G7 meeting with other big countries.  It is on the 11^th June in Cornwall.  People say that is crazy to put pressure on – it will help Australia.  And the farmers say that Australia will send cheap meet if there is no tax.  Now the UK wants to gradually reduce the tax over 15 years.  Farmers say they will go bust.  Australia has huge farms and they use drugs to make the animals bigger.  Actually, the trade with Australia is really very small.
OK if you don’t like mice – don’t watch
Parts of Australia have had bad weather for several years.  They had no rain, then fires and then floods. Just this year the weather changed and the crops started to grow again.  Trouble is the new weather was good for mice – millions of them – in the streets, in cars, in hospitals and in the houses.  They got everywhere and they eat everything.  The Government has to use the strongest poison possible.  The videos from Australia are horrible – do not watch them online.
