World leaders are shocked by the Myanmar army. They took over and have been killing innocent people – on the street and in their homes.  On Saturday, the army generals had a big party to celebrate their “Armed Forces Day”.  On Saturday, their army killed over 100 people.  They protest about the army take over.  World leaders complain but they have no direct power to stop the violence.  China and Russia refuse to take action with the other countries.
Did you switch off your lights for Earth Hour?  March 27th, 8.30pm Paris, Moscow, Berlin, Rome … turned off the lights on their famous monuments.  The World Wildlife Fund asked people to turn off their lights and to take photos.  They want people to talk about how we are wrecking our world and affecting animals and plants.  The Earth Hour is to happen every year.
Sunday was Formula 1 motor racing in Saudi Arabia.  OK but many countries complain about the human rights in Saudi Arabia, especially the problems for women.  A new report says that Saudi Arabia has spent $1.5 billion … so that people think that Saudi Arabia is a great place for events and for people to come as tourists.
Have you seen the new idea – virtual fashion.  Gucci can let you have their trainers for £8.99.  Not actually the real trainers – virtual trainers.   You use your smartphone camera and can “try on” the trainers and take a photograph of yourself wearing them.  You can then put this on your social media page to show off to friends.  Fashion companies in Europe are selling virtual dresses (up to £500).  You can see these on Instagram.  You don’t buy the dress just put your face and body inside the image and people think you are rich and glamorous.
