Trump is hiding in a “bunker” in the White House.  He has no public events and did not meet with advisers – only the lawyers trying to change the election result.  He has not answered any questions from reporters and not travelled anywhere further than his golf course near Washington.  He is not doing any of the jobs that a President should be doing like dealing with the pandemic or having meetings about security.  What he is doing is sacking anyone who disagreed with him.  The latest to be sacked is the head of cyber security – they investigate whether there is interference in elections and Government business.  They reported that there was no election fraud.  So Trump sacked the head of the group.
There were air strikes by Israel against the Syrian army and Iran forces.  They say that the Iranians put bombs in Israel land.  So Israel bombed the military sites in Syria.  The trouble in the region never stops.
Scientist are saying that the huge hurricanes which have caused damage in Central America are a direct result of climate change.  There have been 30 tropical storms this year – a record.  Because the water is warmer, the storm build up faster and can be much more severe.  The scientists say it is only going to get worse.
France now has over 2 million cases.  It is suspected that Russia has many more cases than it is reporting.  Italy and Spain are breaking records for new cases and more deaths.
