Russia says it will produce a vaccine for all people in its country by October.  Many countries are working to find the correct vaccine.  It is not clear that a vaccine produced so quickly, will solve the problem of the virus.
Another very large fire is reported for California.  It is east of Los Angeles and thousands of people have been told to leave homes.  There are high temperatures (over 40 degrees) and the trees and bushes can easily burn.
Another hurricane (really strong winds) has hit USA (North Carolina).  They are expecting rises in sea water and heavy rain.  This is affecting tourist areas where people are on holiday.
There was a terrorist attack on a prison in Afghanistan in Jalalabad.  There was fighting for 20 hours and 29 people died.  About one thousand prisoners tried to escape.  Three hundred are still on the run.
Aircraft from Israel attacked military bases in Syria, near Damascus.  They say people tried to set off a bomb on the Israel border and so they sent in planes to retaliate.  The problems in the Middle East have been going on for a very long time and there is not a peace solution at the moment.
Deaf people in India have been getting some information in sign language from volunteers (see the video in this section).  Deaf community complained they could not understand the news bulletins about the virus and so interpreters and deaf people have been recording information and putting it online.  They need Indian Deafstation.
