Trouble in the Middle East after attack on Iran nuclear plant
There was a cyber attack which broke the power supplies in the nuclear plant in Iran.  At first they said it was a power failure.  Now the reports say the power system exploded.  Iran blames Israel.  Israel says Iran should not have nuclear weapons.  Iran says they will have revenge.  Trump withdrew from a deal to stop Iran nuclear plans.  Now the USA wants to go back to this.  It will be difficult to make a new agreement.
Volcano is continuing in St Vincent island – people have to leave.
It started on Friday.  The volcano exploded with ash and gas in the air.  The island is covered in ash.  People living near have to leave but some refuse.  Crazy … because everything nearby is destroyed – people, animals, plants.
Covid pandemic growing more and more in the world.
World Health Organisation reports 4.4 million cases last week.  Nearly 3 million died so far.  Worst countries are USA and South America.  WHO say countries are disorganised and do not have vaccines and people ignore the warnings.  In India there is a big festival Kumbah Mela – it happens every 12 years – thousands and thousands of people close together.  On Monday, India had 168 thousand new cases.  Rich countries need to help other countries across the world.
More trouble in Minneapolis  – another man shot by police
You know about George Floyd and Black lives Matter.  And now the trial of the police for killing him.  On Sunday, the police shot another black man.  They say it was a mistake.  Hundreds of people came on the streets to protest…. Again.
