Nervous in Washington
The Capitol building was shut down on Monday.  Nobody in or out.  Why?  There was a fire in a nearby building.  Everyone is nervous – possible more trouble before Biden become President.  Thousands of troops and huge fences all around.  Trump stays in White House until Wednesday morning.  Then flies on Airforce One – the president’s plane – for the last time.  Heads off to Mar-a-Lago – hotel and golf course in Florida.  Many people making money just now – how?  Trump is selling pardons to criminals and his friends.  People pay thousands of dollars to ask Trump to get them out of jail or to avoid being charged with crime.  Expect him to pardon his family as well.  Sad.
Russians put Navalny in jail again
Remember the man who was poisoned by Russian agents.  He was taken to German hospital and survived. He went back to Russia, on Monday.  Right away they grabbed him from the airport and took him to jail.  Judge said he has to stay there for a month.  They make up some charges against him because he wants free speech and free elections in Russia.  Other countries make objections.  Unlikely that Putin will listen to them.
EU wants to take finance business from London
We know that City of London is major place for financial dealings – especially money exchange.  City of London makes a huge amount of profit for UK.  EU wants “to take back control” of the euro and is making plans.  Already on January 4th, 6.5 million euro share deals got taken back to the EU.  This is because of Brexit and it is very serious for UK.  Boris did not make a deal for the finance services and the banks – only for goods.  Watch out for more on this in future.
