Now over 6 million cases of virus with 370 thousand deaths.
The scientists are saying it is too early to stop lockdown and the decision by Boris, is very risky.  Britain still has over 8 thousand new cases each day. 
Nearly 3 million have recovered.  Worst cases:  USA, then Brazil, then Russia. UK is 5^th worst.  There are many small steps with early trials of drugs but no breakthrough.  One group of researchers say that you have to test everyone in an area (they suggest the town of Norwich) in order to find out what is really happening with the virus.
There are big differences across the UK.  The North East of England is worst (378 cases in 100 thousand people), then the North West (348).  South West of `England only has 136 cases in 100 thousand.  Remember that the figures are not exact as most people have not been tested.
Banks are worried that small companies will not be able to pay back the loans that Government has given them to help through the virus crisis.  Businesses think there might be a “blood bath” of loss of jobs because the country will not get back to normal for a very long time.
